Letterfrack
Letterfrack is a rural village located in north west Connemara, 75 kilometres from Galway city, 11 kilometres from Clifden Town which is the capital of Connemara and its main commercial centre. The area is very scenic and popular as a tourist centre, Connemara National Park overlooks the village and Kylemore Abbey and its Victorian Gardens are 2 kilometres distance.

Letterfrack is a thriving village founded by Quakers in the 1800's. Within its environs is located 'Connemara West', a community owned and managed rural Development Company which provides a range of community and public service facilities and includes; The Furniture College, Letterfrack Conservation Centre, Letterfrack Youthreach Centre, Letterfrack Farmers Co-Operative, Connemara Community Radio & Forum, a community/statutory managed community development project for the Connemara region.
